Booking and payment
Price, payment and cancellation.
The price depends on size, distance from pickup, speed and extras. You don't pay for the trip from our depot. If the booking shows a fixed price, you book straight away. Otherwise you request a quote: it arrives by email within 2 hours on working days, free and without obligation. More on the page Prices.
For private customers including VAT, for businesses plus VAT.
By direct debit (SEPA) or by prepayment via bank transfer. Prepayment isn't available for “Same day” and “Direct”, because the transfer wouldn't arrive in time. Businesses with a customer account receive a monthly invoice.
Yes, in your customer account at vemo-logistik.de/konto. What a cancellation costs is set out in our terms and conditions.
Speed and delivery area
How fast and where to.
You choose one of four levels:
- Economy: within 2 working days
- Fixed slot: on your chosen day in a 3-hour window, or a 1-hour window on request
- Same day: delivery by 6 pm if you book by noon
- Direct: in 60–90 minutes, no detours, within Bonn only
Everything except “Direct” is bundled via our depot in Bonn.
Monday to Friday. We currently don't deliver in the evenings or on Saturdays.
In all of Bonn (Bonn-Zentrum, Beuel, Bad Godesberg, Hardtberg) and on the left bank of the Rhine in Cologne (Innenstadt without Deutz, Rodenkirchen, Lindenthal, Ehrenfeld, Nippes, Chorweiler). All neighbourhoods are listed on the Delivery area. If an address is outside the area, ask us.
Yes, by electric van from Bonn. “Same day” also works for Cologne, a direct run doesn't. More about Cologne
Size, weight and carrying
What fits and who carries it.
- Small (S): up to 5 kg, 40 × 30 × 30 cm
- Medium (M): up to 20 kg, 60 × 40 × 40 cm
- Large (L): up to 40 kg, 120 × 80 × 60 cm
- Bulky (XL): over 40 kg, large and bulky items such as furniture, a washing machine or a Euro pallet, always two people. Depending on the dimensions we use the cargo bike with the Zemmi trailer or the electric van, which holds up to 14 m³.
Whenever a single item weighs more than 40 kg, i.e. for Bulky items (XL). For lighter but bulky items, you can add a second person as an extra.
Yes. From size L, you book the “Carrying without a lift” extra per floor. If there's a lift, you don't need it.
We don't transport dangerous or prohibited goods. The full list is in our terms and conditions.
Delivery and security
Tracking, delivery, insurance.
Yes. You and the recipient get a link to the shipment. You can also look it up at vemo-logistik.de/sendungsverfolgung with the 10-digit tracking number.
As an individual customer, you choose: a new delivery attempt or return to sender, each at half the price of the trip. Or you collect the shipment free of charge from our depot at Brühler Straße 30 in Bonn. For major customers, the second attempt is free.
We are liable for goods worth up to 500 euros at no extra charge. For a surcharge, you can cover higher values, up to a maximum of 5,000 euros per shipment.
Yes. Only the buyer books and pays; the seller never pays anything and never enters card details. The seller checks the booking at vemo-logistik.de/sendungsverfolgung using the tracking number and the pickup postcode. Our emails only come from @vemo-logistik.de. More about pickups
